I really like Z-PC also. I ran out about year ago and haven't ordered any Zaino products in a while. But using Z-PC with an 5.5" orange pad had a lot of corrective ability on most cars and was a good 1-step polish. Use a lot of pressure at first to get the most bite possible from the polish and then decrease pressure to finish it off. The work time was quick If it was a darker color and I felt it needed to be finished off more then I would use ZAIO with a white or blue pad. Most have done a couple dozen 1-step (I guess that would be 2 if I used ZAIO) in the past using Z-PC.

I use Zaino very often, and to me it never seemed to be a difficult line to work with. I use Einszettes (yellow, green and red cans) for polishing and correcting. After correction, I use either Klasse AIO or Zaino AIO with a white pad (PC on 4) to clean the oils. Then follow with either Z2 or Z5, depending on the color of the vehicle. I've found that Z2/Z5 bonds very well with Klasse AIO.

I have Z-Fusion, but for some reason I cant get it to work very well, so it sits neglected on the shelf.

I love Z-16 tire, Z-9 and Z-10 is one of the best leather cleaner and conditioners I have found. Love Z-6 detail spray, Z-8 seems like a waste to me. Still havent tried ZCS yet, one of these days.

I used to buy ZFX, but gave up on it. I just add my second layer the following day or the following week after a second wash.

Anybody catch one of Paul Dalton's latest writeups of DW?

He did a "baby blue" Porsche correction and detail and used a prototype LSP from Zaino which apparently, is pretty amazing, as he put it.

Not really sure if it's a wax, sealant, or some type of coating... but it sounds really interesting.

Any info on it? Their website doesn't have anything on it.

I know he is a Zaino user, uses it on leather, wheels etc.........

Yes, it may not be the latest Fad product, but it is still reliable, does what it says, proven and still widely used. People should not discount it since its not the latest and greatest.

I have to give him credit for that, he doesn't come out with a new product just to get you to add another rarely used bottle to your shelves. So many other companies come out with a new product every 6 months that is the new 'latest and greatest' and gets all the hype and instant sales boost and then sits on the shelf next to the past 4 generations of the latest and greatest. I wish more places would sell small sizes for that but I guess they realize that most will spring for the regular size if that is all that is offered and many who bought a sample size wouldn't come back for a larger one, they'd move on to some other companies latest offering.

It actually annoys me more when they sneak abrasives into products without listing it. I get so tired of trying to dig through the descriptions of a glaze or precleaner to see if it has abrasives or not.
But I do have to agree, the last time I went to the Zaino site it threw me off that everything was called a polish but I do remember when anything that made the car shiny was typically referred to as a polish.

I used Zaino quite a bit years ago and was generally happy with it. I agree with the comment above that cleaning out the little bottles after you mix the zfx stuff is a pain. And that was the other drawback trying to mix just enough that you don't waste any but don't run out either. Now I'd probably skip the zfx and just apply one coat and then wash the car the next weekend and apply another and so on for a few weeks. Except the website makes it look like that wouldn't work since it says "Whenever you layer Z-2 PRO™, you must activate it with ZFX."
And it makes it look like elsewhere that if you don't use the ZFX you have to start out with the AIO.
" You need minimally ZFX or Z-1 (ZFX is better), Z-2, and a 314 Polish Applicator pad. I would also order Z-6 Gloss Enhancer Spray to keep your car dust free and looking beautiful. Z-6 is used between coats of Z-2 to provide enhanced gloss. If you wash your car yourself, pick up some Z-7 as well."
I'm more of the type to try one product from a company and if I like it branch out slowly to their other products not a buy their entire line at once. Otherwise I'd have a garage full of stuff that I don't use, rather than just a small shelf of LPS's that are out to pasture waiting for me to give up completely on them and toss them out. I almost ordered some Z2 but then got to looking at all the other stuff they said I 'needed' and it got too expensive and I'm real happy with the BFWD and Midnight Sun combo.
