Zaino is here!

What I didn't like about it was the limited shelf life after mixing it up. It just seems to restrictive for me..to each his own. I'm glad you liked it.

 

Well it's intended to use no more than 3 coats in 24 hours with ZFX. How much were you mixing up?

The shelf life stinks only if you are trying to mix some massive batch that you intend to do over a few days or something.

 

Wolfie..you will be very happy with the Zaino....I myself use it and its a great product....I have a few people who i do there cars and trucks for and thats what they want...and I have just used the Z5 Pro as they like the look of it over the z2 pro...

You will be happy you got them....

Zaino--- hhhmmmm, can you compare it to DG combo for looks and durability? Guess not on looks as Zaino does give that saran wrap look, DG is deep and glossy.

Maybe next time I see piet im gonna have to score a sample off him

 

Have you seen much Zaino? I don't get the saran wrap look thoughts that everyone gets.

I sort of wonder sometimes if the DG PBA (501) and the 111 or 105 or 101 aren't somehow cousins of Zaino, PBA being Z1 like and 101 or 111 being Z2 or Z5.

Of course Sal is going to kill me for making that comparison.. but sometimes you just can't help but wonder.

 

i think the saran wrap look comes whtih z2, but when pro came out it took away most of it.

 

I first used Zaino long before the "Pro" stuff came out. Even looking back on some pictures from that era I don't see the Saran Wrap look. Shrugs.

I still talk to the chemist and will be seeing him soon to do his boat and go fishing...the problem with the sealant is the cost...he is afraid it may be to costly for consumers..so he is trying to make one as durable and look wise for cheaper...he just landed a big contract from a few European militaries for the stuff we have now...so he is concentrating on them for now....

the stuff he is making now is close to 400.00 a gallon ..so see the cost is a issue...
