Hmm, what scent do you plan on making them Phil? I say do both versions and see what the testers say about it :)

Forgive me but I am a bit lost with this thread.

So, Phil from DD is looking to come up with a Lusso wax, is that it?

I thought he was using SV. What happened? Not happy with SV anymore?

ps: Lusso looks fantastic on the Cobra and the 996. Wow, rarely seen a silver metallic this nice with a nuba wax.

I have a few vehicles to try it out on. No blues though. Ivory pearl, redfire metallic, darker grey matallic, and black. I've used quite a few waxes, but the highest up the ladder I've went is Supernatural. But I have used them in the range that you want this one to be priced at. I can provide feedback fairly quickly. I'd love to be a tester. If I fit the bill, add me to the list. No big deal if you would rather have someone else test it though.

very happy with SV no problems at all. in fact I will be doing a car with Blau Weiss later tonight.

I have an opportunity with Lusso to develop a wax that would have every ones input, what better opportunity than to do this...

    pektel, where are you located?

I would like to test the wax, I have a black vehicle. However, I am not a pro, so I will wait for the retail version.

I too am not a pro, but would be happy to test the wax on MB paint (metallic silver and gloss black) and BMW paint (metallic navy blue) if interested, and can email you dSLR photos of the results.

    Current LSP's on hand:
Natty's Red, Dodo SN v2.0, Dodo RBJE, RBOE, Zymol Glasur, Migliore Frutta, P21s 100%, Colli 845, 476s, 915... I think that's it? :shead:

I too would be happy to test out some waxes in some wonderful blisteringly hot and dry Nor-Cal summer.

I can easily put it on (I'm responsible for upkeep / washing / polishing / waxing):
'08 Light Silver Toyota Tundra (outside)
'09 Dark Gray Acura TSX (outside)
'01 Light Silver Audi S4 (garaged, outside at work)
'02 Dark Blue Pearl Acura TL (outside)

03 Nissan Pathfinder - Metallic silver
98 Nissan Maxima - Metallic gold

    All are daily driven.

Have used lower end zymol, nattys, wolgang sealant, RBOE, klasses, and others in the price range.

Ya know... I've tried lots, and nothing's really stood out as being way better than anything else.

    I've done:
    Lusso Oro
    SV Smargd
    Zymol Concours
    JS109 + Smargd
    JS109 + Concours
    FMJ + Lusso
    FMJ
    JS109

I've heard DP MaxWax is really nice on silvers, but I"ve never tried it. Honestly, I can't make one reccomendation over another other than they all look nice.

Expecially on my version of silver metallic. It looks nice, but never wow.

On the flipside, I did my dad's '08 Tundra with JS109 and SV Smargd, and it was simply stunning!!! :)

pearl white g37 s - garaged, not daily driven
pearl white nissan 240sx - outside, not daily driven

If I had access to a warehouse full of exotics, would that help my cause? I'm not kidding either..lol

However, I doubt they will let me detail all of them.

Well, assuming they're in good condition paint-wise, you'd really just need to strip any LSP and apply the tester :)
