Yeah but I just drive a little Subaru so I don't see myself spending more than $50 for 8oz of wax. Fusion is the most expensive wax I have ever tried and it's the best wax I have ever tried, so for now, ignorance is bliss.:applause2:

thanks for informing me that those 2 waxes are the same product, just rebranded. honestly, i wouldn't have known otherwise, no joke.

but the fuzion is already sold out.

if u get it at 100 bucks and includes 1 re-fill, then it's like 50 bucks per pot. i mean it has to be better than sth like poorboys natty wax right? it's marketed at 175 original price.

other $100 waxes don't give you another re-fill.

Where did you get that Vic's red and RG 55 are the same wax? :shead: Any proof?

    owning/using both enough?

actually i dont own my sample pot RG55 anymore, i gave it to a friend together with my sample size Vic Chaos (kept Mayhem for myself) because i dont need double ups

their paint cleaner looks very similar to vic's too, though i havent used it myself

I also own both, and frankly, I don't think they are the same.

everyone has their own opinion, and none more so divided when it comes to using waxes

maybe its just coincedence then they offer a 55% carnauba product and 42% carnauba product when vic are the only company doing the same - and when vic are already selling it to worlds best wax who dont even bother changing the colour dye, or name

if i was starting a brand, id be going straight to vic for my waxes as well - vic red is my numero 2 fav wax

rebranding of products is nothing new or to be suprised about. Colour and fragrance are the cheapest parts of a wax to change

fair call, and i did like it for the short section i applied it

i personally havent used my tub of natty's red yet, but will one day using blackhole as the pre-cleaner

but dont fall into the trap of equating asking price with quality

look at that tub of naviwax im testing atm, it is showing collinite style durability and hanging on to it's look far better than the mega dollar zymol and swissvax stuff ive seen/used

I dont either... I had a talk with Worlds Best Wax and there place makes all the products... he explained to me can can put any color of the wax and assured me its not the same thing as Victoria Wax. Different wax content totals I believe as well. RG55... Raceglaze a UK brand getting it from Victoria Wax a BC owned company is not the right way to do things, and the new black series wax? Pretty sure they do it all themselves.

    My 2cents

    No, that's not enough.

then either buy both yourself to compare or ignore one person's opinion

i have nothing to gain either way

I just don't see how you can jump to these ridiculous conclusions that Wax A is identical to Wax B when you have nothing to do with the manufacturing process of either wax.

Just as an FYI, Swissvax is just relabeled Chemical Guys. Everyone knows that.

Just curious, what is your number 1 favorite wax? I've noticed that I have a few of the same waxes as you (lusso oro, e-zyme, ocw, and natty's red) and would like to hear your take.

I'm not saying these two are the same, however there are only a handful of places that actually make this stuff. IMO there are tons of products that are functionally the same yet I'm sure the formula is tweaked just enough so they can say (with a straight face) that it is not the same. If you change the fragrance or color, I guess you can say its technically not the same product.

this is the case for many products in the market place.

for example, car batteries. only several companies manufacture them, for example, johnson controls makes batteries for wally mart, costco, etc.

this is the same for all manufactured items.

I have used both RG55 and Vic's Red and their look is extremely similar. Vic's Red tends to be a little bit "greasier" than RG55. RG55 last a little bit longer than Vic's Red though ... are they the same? I don't think so. Are they similar? Yes ... maybe as similar as CG's 50/50 and Wet Obsession.

My number 1 has to be naviwax dark

I'll be testing their spray wax and ultimate wax soon

Hmm. I've never heard of naviwax. What about it makes it your favorite?

Just saw your review, looks promising. Think I'll get this instead of Glasur and Concorso lol.
It's like 60 bucks shipped to the US, cheaper than Glasur and Concorso too, haha.
Thanks for the review and the videos!
