Thanks again, Maple Ridge is VERY close to some Mountain ranges isn't it? I must say I am quite jealous, I have to drive 3-4 hours to enjoy the rockies :whistle:

Those mountains are 15 minutes from my front door. Camera fell of my tripod today. my fault. Looks like I may have F$%^ed my 16-85.

 

Dear 911Fanatic

I was shooting a couple of young ladies for their portfolios and dropped our 5D Mark II with the 24-70 2.8L from the tripod. The camera and lens busted. I thought I'd have to get new ones of each, but my local camera repair shop was able to fix both for about US$535.

Thanks. Just dropped my lens off to get fixed. Hopefully the quote won't be too bad. I think a gear inside the lens just popped off.
