If you are going to use anything orange or more aggressive you should just use wool. Wool cuts better and levels the paint better which in turn gives you a better finish.

You actually need to step up to a full wool pad, works even better than a foamed wool
    pad.

Sorry but there is no way you can do full correction with a pc and orange pad. You might make the vehicle look a little better but not to the point a wool pad and then a foam pad with finishing polish will.

I see no problem with that but after you use that, try a full wool pad and you will see even more of a difference.

My car as Very fresh paint so its more of an upkeep on those spots that get alot of swirls, I allways follow up with a white pad with a finishing polish. I know its not going to get the correction a Rotary will but I don't have a rotary & don't have the cash to buy one :sorry:

megs pads and sonus pads are the best in my opinion.
I gave away my LC pads.. i burned paint twice with those pads. but i still use the 4 inch once with great care..

Carlos has some for sale in a thread up, titled "Only for detailing bliss members" or something like that. Availible are cutting, polishing, and finishing 3M UK pads, IIRC.

i am in love with the 3m uk pads... i really like the lc pads too but damn the waffle design in the 3m uk pads is awesome. and they are so easy to control. i find it easier to use with one hand than the lc pads.. plus the backing is top quality on the 3m pads.. though i will say maybe too much as i went to tear it off the 3m backing plate and it ripped around the velcro boarder. still only 2 pads i have ever used as i am a bit of a noob with the rotary. but i love it and have had great results.
