Its not some magical crack like substance Ken... it just so happens that every now and again you come across a product that makes you STOP looking for other products like it, as in I literally have no desire to try any more "gentle" shampoos at all. Lusso auto bathe has been that product for me, granted when prepping customers cars I usually wash with something citrus like CG but for my car its always Lusso:thumb:

These are my favorites. They are not in any order. All of them work great for me ...

    1. DG 901- Maintenance
    2. MS Ultra Gloss- Maintenance
    3. Glossworkz- Maintenance
    4. CG CWC- LSP Strip
    5. CG CWG- LSP Strip
    6. MG Super Foam mixed with Power Clean- LSP Strip

    A DUMB ONE!

2oz per gallon... assuming you use 4 gallons of water thats, 8oz of soap. So a whole 16oz bottle will last you, 2 washes, woohoo!

Im sorry but its ridiculous, and besides the fact that 4oz of any shampoo will make for a crap wash with too much lubricity, yes that is such a thing.

Use a strong mix of the soap, maybe 1.5 oz for 4 gallons of water and rely on all purpose cleaners, IPA and clay to remove the rest.

1Z Perls, all I use on my car and clients cars. If I'm testing an lsp I usually use detailers pride shampoo. Cheap (bogo) and works nice

I also like the DP shampoo... it smell really good, suds well, slick .. no issues with it... I haven't tried the 1Z yet but i will order a bottle on the next sale just to say i tried another product recommended by my peers :)

I have to try my Lusso again.. so many fellow detailers whom i admire use it ... i tried it once but felt it was expensive and didn't do such a great suds / job... i may have not provided enough product / ratio to water and that could be the reason for my poor results..

I'm going to try it again and see what happens ....

I agree 100%. I have yet to see CWG strip any LSP completely regardless of dilution. MY advice is to use a strong mixture of your APC. Foam it on, use a pump sprayer or even a trigger sprayer. It will cost you less and do a better job.

currently i use CG Orange Degreaser diluted 5:1 as my APC

will that work? or should i buy some Poorboys APC

im not too fussed about the cost, more so in choosing an APC that wont stain/dry out window rubbers

    LUSSO and Adams.

    Lusso - Lubricity and smell

Adams - Lubricity, Tons of suds, and has always worked well. (great in canon)

Thats all i use. I keep it simple.

I use Optimum and have used Gold Glass in the past. I really want to try a wash with more suds however. DO any of you guys wash with Dawn to strip before claying?

Kdude- don't be alarmed when using Perls, there aren't much suds to it but it's supposed to be that way. Don't pour more just to see suds.

Not Dawn, but sunlight. Once that's done, I make sure to clay and re-wash with a car shampoo to get rid of the white haze dish soap leaves behind.

1Z Perls is an amazing shampoo, leaves a fantastic finish and beads well/durable.

Werkstat does not smell all that great, but is a fantastic shampoo.

CWG is very tough, but it literally eats the skin off my hands. gloves for this stuff!

P21S is also amazing, and is great for maintaining.

All this talk about Lusso! The money just disappears:(
