Wesleys is OK, but unsafe. I am goign to begin to use Zep. Haven't figured out what dilution, but I will soon discover.

If you can get it Ardex New Wave Cleaner is hand down the best, I use it on my wide white walls and it almost requires no agitation on them and none at all on the black walls.

I like Optimum Power Clean. It worked better for me than Meg's APC and MS Green Stuff.

+1. I find I get equally good results with this or CG Grime Reaper. And meg's SD is WAY cheaper. Once my gallon of GR is gone, I'll be going back to SD.

I love OPC. I don't use it on tires though (only because I have gotten better results from Meg's Super Degreaser). I actually use OPC 3:1 and an oz or 2 of shampoo (just for foam/cling) in a spray bottle as a prep soak to strip the wax. Cheaper than a foam cannon for me right now, and works just fine.

I like the versatility of OPC. Interiors, leather, paint-safe. Just don't let it dry on the paint. I have experienced some streaking. but I was polishing anyways, so no biggie there.

I am loath to pay shipping when an amazing APC which can be bought locally in the US as well as Canada is available. I'm referring to Zep of course, available in Home Depot. The purple is an amazing product for tires. I use it at 4:1. Be careful with the fumes though, it IS potent stuff. For $10 or 11 bucks a gallon, it lasts a long time and is VERY effective. The Citrus is also a great product. I use it on wheels and the wells, also at 4:1. I also like using the HD grey chemical resistant bottles too. I got turned onto Zep a few years ago by some original DB members (such as myself) and have in turn recommended it to many people here and in other forums. You will not be disappointed, I promise.

I am the third official voter for the AG CWC, but if what you're saying is true,I'll be at Home Depot tomorrow to get some Zep Purple! :)

You'll be one of many I've turned onto it. Let me know what you think of it. Amazing stuff for engines too.

Found a half gallon of Amazing Roll Off that was hidden in my store room. Forgot how amazing ARO is for cleaning tires. The brown crud just rolls off.

I actually tried ARO for the first time today. I was disappointed. (probably goes on the trading list).

I actually took a side by side picture. The left side is ARO and Optimum is on the right. I did agitate with a brush so am puzzled on what the trick is to make it work. These michelins my second set bloom a lot (browning).

Bleche White has been my go-to tire cleaner for the longest time. I used AG's CWC today and it did an awesome job without any scrubbing.

People have mentioned horror stories about Bleche White...how would you suggest using it to avoid any damage?

Just make sure the rim is wet and that you spray the tires only. I spray the tires a couple of times and scrub them really fast and then proceed to rinse them. I don't let the product sit. I haven't had any issues. Use common sense ... I bet most people that have reported issues have sprayed Bleche White on hot/warm rims.

Megs Super degreaser 1:4 with a foaming sprayer... it bleeds the brown stuff in seconds...

CG Grime Reaper 1:5 or any degreaser for that matter; I find it better than APC.

Sometimes I use the same wheel cleaner, other times, Super Degreaser 1:4, Surfex HD 1:3 or APC 1:3.

I really like the Eagle One A2Z stuff but it's just too pricey for tire usage. I've also had great success with AG CWC but I don't like the idea of using wheel cleaner for tires for the same reason as above. I really do like ZEP though, amazing stuff, cheap, and OTC... hard to beat. :)
