To the OP, I understand what you are saying, but you seem highly suspect to me. A back handed compliment isn't really a compliment. In my opinion, your post was designed to cause turmoil and arouse feelings of ill will, if not dredge them up. I could be wrong, it would not be the first time, but it just seems very fishy.

    To answer your questions though...

    1) I don't photoshop ANY of my photos, I just use a good camera, and take too many, 97,000 I have taken over 6 years roughly.

    2) How do I make my cars look so good? It might be that I use many different lights and I am extremely fussy ( fussy as hell with everything, ask my girlfriend) and thorough with every inch of the cars paintwork. I have been carrying out paintwork correction for a very long time and I have spent many hours doing so, experience and determination is everything.

  3. well i gotta say this time your wrong all i wanted to know is what makes pauls work so good ya i stated a pet peeve but i never asked any one for theres . Its kinda like asking whats in the secrect sauce, get it? I never did nor do i want this thread to be negative about paul or any other detailer. I respect every ones work and every ones work is differant there is no best detailer theres only peolples opinions of who is the best

  4. thank you paul i hope you dont think i started this so people would come down on you. I started this thread with good intensions but we all kinda saw where that went. Two more ?'s if i may ask 1 when are you coming out with your own product line? And 2 do you ever teach any seminars or offer any kind of training? Thanks

As with any good detailer, experience has a lot to do with it. No product or polish or wax can replace experience. Its all the little and big things you learn and pick up on over years and years of detailing.

See, I don't think any one is THE BEST. There are certain levels acheived, and the upper level detailers all share the same level. No one holds the top spot, so to speak.

You have time to post up things you were given or bought. So why don't you spend that time showing off stuff you bought towards a write up or take that time to contribute some info on posts. You found the time to respond to this thread several times so why not to other threads that your experience could help someone that is asking a question. Posting on this thread is just contridicting what you said above.

Agreed, most of the time the experience a person has will provide better results then someone who has first started or has only doing this for a few years. This goes for anything else that takes time to learn and be very good at.

    Agreed, well said.

To be quite honest. I am the best detailer you all know.

Ok, enough of the funny business. This is internet, very serious business!

Posting a few photos takes a few minutes, a detailed thread with lots of pics and videos takes hours, I know, VXRMarc spent days writing and sorting out pictures for a good thread many times.

Sorry, time is money, and I only have a few minutes here and there spare, not hours to write a big thread about a detail. I have a business to run.

    Sorry if that upsets anyone.

Also, there is a reason why I don't contribute on posts.

    NO:shakehead:
do i learn from his details?

I'm willing to bet most if not all the more recognizable DB members are thinking the same thing. There is absolutely no reason to go questioning Paul. He has the choice to make a huge write up thread or not. It also certainly doesn't make him any less of a detailer if he doesn't.

Troll post is trolling imo. :boxing:

I'd say to not feed the troll and leave this thread alone. Just my 2cents.
