What is your favorite wax?

It is worth having in your kit........

 

What kind of wax would you suggest for my 05 civic si. I live in portland and want something that will last through winter

 

Collonite 845 or 476s are both very durable and long lasting

 

What is the difference and can I getm at pepboys?

the 845 is liquid and the 476 is paste. You probably can't get them at Pep Boys, but easily online through a sponsored vendor fof this forum. For a very reasonable price too.

 

Pete's 53 is pretty good. I love the sv crystal rock on my car as well

 

For what I have tried, Blackfire Midnight Sun.

Favorite is Swissvax Insignis v1.

 

Pricewise it's tough to beat Colli 476. At under $20, it'll outlast pretty much any sealant / wax on the market. My personal fav on prepared paint is Raceglaze Black Label. BF Midnight Sun is awesome as well. If you don't mind waxing regularly, P21S ( blue lid ) is fantastic on metallics.

I call 476s my classy wax, it just makes single stages crisp. Great wax, sometimes a bit hard to apply. Darn durable.

 

Collinite 915 easily takes the cake for paste in my book. P21S 100% looks great and is easier to apply, but doesn't last near as long.
