Hmm, I wonder if any of us has the Infratech CM5300 AND the Fenix TK10 to do a comparision? Hehe.

It is really bright. Try and out and let me know what you think about the results that you get.

I have gotten the best results holding it around 5ft or so from the paint surface. If you get it a lot closer than that it really tends to wash out the scratches, but a little further back and you should be good to go.

As for comparing that with some other stuff, if anybody in SoCal wants to do a direct comparison let me know, we can meet up for a detail and compare them side by side. Might be a cool little project.

If it works out well for the Fenix it could really save a lot of people money. Contrasting that with the Sun Gun, you save at least $200.

I just picked up a 8 LED light at Tuesday Morning for 6$ on clearance, it takes C batteries and is from a no-namecompany, however it sure shows scratches and swirls. In moderate daylight, it shows them best in shadows at about 2 feet.

Wondering how your LED light did for you?

Does this Fenix run off of standard AA batteries?
