Can anyone give me their thoughts or opinions on the Werkstat line? I really like the look and shine that the Klasse Twins give me on my car, as well as durability. I have read that Werkstat is the updated version of Klasse. So I have the following questions. Thanks for the help. 1. How does the Werkstat line compare to Klasse? 2. What is the durability of AJ & AJT? 3. How is easy it to work with? 4. Will AJ or AJT stain black plastic trim? I like how KSG seals the trim as well as paint. 5. How does the look of AJ & AJT compare to Klasse? 6. Is there a better Sealant combo or system as far as looks, durability, and workability?
I haven't used Klasse but I have used Werkstat Prime Strong and Acrylic Jett. Durability of Prime Strong seems good to me. Iused Prime Strong Acrylic Jett & Fuzion before winter set in & my SUV's still shining... My Rav4 has black plastic side mirror housings. I used Acrylic Jett on them with no problems so Trigger shouldn't be a problem either. Prime Strong left a very nice glossy wet looking shine - Very similar to Fuzion From what I've been reading Zaino would probably last a lot longer than Werkstatt. Especially if you use ZFX with Z-2 and/or Z-5. Zaino seems to give more of a glossy wet candy look though while Werkstat leaves more of a carnuba look.
1. How does the Werkstat line compare to Klasse? Both seem good. See #5 2. What is the durability of AJ & AJT? Just put the AJ on it yesterday, hadn't left the KSG on long enough to tell before that. I had just unearthed my old bottle of KSG a couple weeks ago. 3. How is easy it to work with? It was easier to use than KSG, if it went on a bit too thick the residue would wipe off much easier. But I found following up KSG the next day with Wet Glaze 2.0 took care of any leftover. 4. Will AJ or AJT stain black plastic trim? I like how KSG seals the trim as well as paint. It shined the plastic trim on my truck quite nicely 5. How does the look of AJ & AJT compare to Klasse? The shine from AJ is deeper than the KSG and to my eye not quite as sharp. Probably would describe it as a bit more nuba. With KSG I'd find myself watching the side of my truck in the mirror and the reflection of their daytime running lights from other cars would dance off the orange peel in the paint with a very sharp reflection. I didn't notice that with the AJ 6. Is there a better Sealant combo or system as far as looks, durability, and workability? To be honest I'm not much of a sealant guy. I've got UPGP and it lasted through several months of no washes at all in the winter. I think I like the look of KSG or AJ better though. Usually I redo my cars soon enough that durability doesn't matter but with a silver truck I think the end result with sealants are better. My hands down favorite on my silver truck was Image10 finish cream but they seem to have gone out of business. It was the only product that ever got me compliments on that vehicle. I have Wolf's Body Wrap on order so we'll see how it does when it gets here but it has a long trip ahead.

KSG always gave me streaking problems, AJT goes on about as easy as a QD. 2. What is the durability of AJ & AJT? I haven't used AJ to know if it's different than AJT in terms of longevity, but it should last about 3 months alone on a nicely prepped surface. With Prime maybe add another month. 3. How is easy it to work with? Extremely easy for AJT. It's a wipe on and buff til clear, then wipe with a fresh towel process. All in all it probably takes less than 30 seconds to do a single panel including being extremely careful to cover all areas and make sure there are no streaks. 4. Will AJ or AJT stain black plastic trim? I like how KSG seals the trim as well as paint. I haven't seen AJT stain trim. It doesn't have heavy solvents like a solid wax or sealant would so I think it is much safer. It goes out basically residue free. 5. How does the look of AJ & AJT compare to Klasse? I'm a firm believer in "prep work makes the difference", but people have claimed it looks great on light colored cars. 6. Is there a better Sealant combo or system as far as looks, durability, and workability? Prime/AJ(T) and Duragloss 501/105 (with or without 601) are two systems that people love. Autoglym Super Resin Polish and HD wax are great together too if you want that cleaning/sealing combo, but AG is a carnauba.
Thanks for the feedback guys. I had forgot about this thread. The wife likes the bright pop that KSG gives her vehicle in the summer compared to say Menz PowerLock that seems to darken the look slightly. I really do like the look and Durability of KSG but was hopping to find something else that would be slightly easier to use.
