These pads are sweet, I like using the smaller pads when I use my PC. I also tried them out with the flex and worked pretty well.

Simply stated: these pads rock on the PC..

When I bought my 1st batch I was weary that they would make me slower because of the reduced size... Quite the contrary!

Due to the smaller surface size, they build up more heat which in my experience provides faster correction.. In addition to faster correction the PC runs alot smoother and I cant even bog it down with these smaller pads..

Great product to add to your offerings Phil!!

the 5.5 pads are where its at! Much easier to control when on a rotary, and faster correction via PC/UDM. I'll be placing an order pretty soon.

Where on the correction scale would you put the red pad???

I not sure if this answers your question but I read that the red pad is the softest ccs pad which had not correction ability. It can be used to spread glazes and waxes but I don't know the real difference between that and a blue pad myself.

Does the pad hang over the edge of the BP at all?? I like the pad to be atleast a bit larger than the backing plate...

depends on what size bp you have

If I'm right about there with the 5.5's and it has space on the 6.5's

if centered properly the 5.5 pads have a little over hang, this is the combo I used with my flex the other day and it worked awesome.
