The Raceglaze mitt for my own including a jet black BMW. I also really like the Chenille dreadlock type mitts.

somtimes i use a cg microfiber mitt but i dont like it that much cuz its very heavy when soaked . My favorite is still the DD sponge or lowes grout sponge

Where is the best place to get the Schmitt's? I'm wanting the all White and the Yellow/White.

If you want both, probably just over at AG. They're 10.99 each, the interior ones are 17.99 for whatever reason.

This seems to be a better deal for both a paint ShMitt and a Wheel ShMitt:

Do you find that the fibers have clumped a little bit? Not in a bad sense, but the fibers don't seem as independent as they used to.

    Probably AG like Mindflux posted.

Mindflux, try it out man. I love them. The yellow part I use for bugs and does not scratch the paint, and the white is super soft. I never really liked all the sheepskin, or microfiber, or whatever other type of wash mitt because crap gets caught in between all the nap. They say so it will protect the paint, but eventually its going to come out and you are screwed. With the Schmitt and a Grit Gaurd, there is no chance for anything to stick, hide, or stay on the mitt. Try it out

I have been using Dodo Juice Wookie Fist or a Yeti fist or a Swissvax Waschpudel

    Jay,
I just tried out a ProLine grout sponge for the first time today. I'm kind of inbetween at the moment, so if I feel this way about the PLGS I might feel similar about the ShMitt.

Thanks for your kind recommendation though. If I get a chance to order some at a later date I probably will. The black Wheel ShMitt looks pretty cool too.

ive gone back to foam sponges now that im back in a solid black car

i let my car go 3 winter weeks without washing, and just threw the sponge out afterwards. Now ill soak a new sponge in boiling water over the next couple days and will be good to go again

i loved using my Micropak Ultra-Plush mitts, and still use one on my wheels (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v21/scascone/micropak/mitt1_3.jpg)

when i was Aus distributor for Micropak, i went out and had made MF seamless sponges with a foam centre. Ive long ceased trading, but still have plenty of sponges left (i use my own stash only during corrections so as to not dirty them lol) If anyone is keen let me know, i can prob ship a bunch over

Never used the Zymol ones so I can't compare . But all I know is these are simple and flat out perform . Hence why Phil uses and sells them. LOL !!!!!!

The black wheel shmitt is too hard and bulky. It's ok to scrub your wheel wells.

i tried one of those schmitts years ago, a white one iirc

huge fail, it's just too big and doesnt form/shape around panel edges/curves, especially with your hand in it
