Nice video, amazing detail and attention to detail. Also love the car! The video write up was pretty cool, dont worry it was not a bore. How did you like the hex pads?
That was a well put together video, props to you. Did you submit that to CG for their YouTube promotion going on? You could win a free jar of e-zyme, 50/50, pete's or some other stuff. And yes, please do tell about the hex-logic pads!! I'm on the verge of buying some, but I can't find a good review of them
Awesome video and beautiful work. I just picked up some of the CG E-Zyme wax. I can't wait to give it a try.
Nice work mate! I take it this detail was sponsored by Chemical Guys? Also, where was the video of the owner razzing the bollocks out of it???
Hi Guys and thanks for the replies.. To be honest the hex pads are superb. Irarely stray away from what i usually use sons fx1 , 2 and 3 pads and the occasional 3m finishing waffle but these pads really are good. The main reason is because i felt the product stayed open longer and heat didnt seem an issue as much maybe because they have the ability to pass air through the grooves? I didnt get any dusting with the polishes and pads and the polish is also very good although no benefit over my 3m i use at present saying that not everyone uses 3m. The other really good thing about the pad is that it washed up like new. I was presuming that because of the structure the pad brush i use may damage the hex,s on the pad but it didnt and after they have now dried they are as new. Regarding sponsorship , no this wasnt this was simply a case of some new pads to try so i thought id do the full thing in chem guys as i have quite alot of products. I get bored easily and like to do this , my next will be an Adams and i have a cover car to do next weekend which may be a swissvax so for me its trying new things and swop arounds from time to time... What is this chem guys thing that was posted about prizes?
Go on there site, and it is the you tube competition. If you submit a video of how ot use a product you get to choose to get a wax or any 16 oz product just for giving them a vid, then there are other prizes for the best vids that they would use for there site. I am thinking of making one just to get some jetseal or something.
The competition really is a no-brainer: submit any video of you using a Chemical Guys product correctly, and you get a free pot of wax! Doesn't get much easier than that!
From how I read it yes, you get free pot of wax, or any 16 oz product. I mean heck get a free thing of jetseal and trade it off.
