Upgraded My Collection

As most of you know (lurkers ), I broke my PC and its down time is currently 1.5 weeks as of today. That being said, I decided to upgrade since I never ever want to be in the predicament where I would be polishing and the machine would break 1/2 way through the job. While I was very fortunate to have Brian N teaming up at the time, I do sometimes take correction jobs alone. So, in the interest of future details, I decided to get a Makita 9227c to play around with while my PC was in the shop. Also in the interest of future details, I also decided to get a Karcher from Costco as well as the Foam Cannon that Jose, advs1, was selling to replace my Gilmour foam gun. Also upgraded were the bottles I were using. I pretty much deemed HDPE bottles as inferior to their LDPE counterparts. Whether that is true or not, I just like how squishy the LDPE bottles are

Anyway, enough rambling, here are the pics after my cliff notes (I get lazy to read paragraphs too :sorry. I also added a new air cleaner like the Klima Clean from 1Z. Hoping its a cheaper alternative :giggle:

Will you please let me know how easy of a transition you feel it is going from PC to rotary?? I use a flex but wanted to pick up a rotary this summer and am interested in your thoughts on how you feel about the switch..thanks Isaac

nice little collection there. whereabouts did you pick up those little squeeze bottles? you'll fall in love with the makita. its a great machine.

Picked up 10 64oz Eagle One Car Washes to use in the solution so I can have more fun with too. Hope its good but for $1.33 each its doesn't break the wallet if it sucks :headbang:

 

The Eagle One's actually not all that bad. Plus at $1.33 each, it's a steal!
