Undercarriage spray

great advice. when cheap tire-foam goes on sale, I buy it by the arm-full. I do the wheel wells everytime I wash the car, once or twice a week. goes a long way and I don't cringe about it. always have good looking wheel wells.

 

One thing tire foam is great for is wheel wells..very economical especially if it has been only laying around.

The aerosol is easily blown around though, so try not to spray it after your last wipe down.

I've been wondering what a product like C-Quartz or their dressing would look like / perform. i wouldn't mind spending the $ on my own car, if i could just spray my wheel wells down with high pressure.

I can answer that for you. On my new Lincoln MKX, I applied my old AQuartz to the plastic wells and after 2 months, they still clean up easily and stay nice and black. I have never treated them with anything else. Here's the link for when I got the car ready from the factory:

Kilo what do you think of the CG undercarriage spray, how long has it lasted, matte or glossy finish do you require alot to dress the wheel wells? I use Simoniz Tire Foam which I bought for $3 on sale at Canadian Tire lol. It's been about 3 weeks and they still look nice and black

 

I have a gallon of CG Undercarriag Spray and I find that it works very well, haven't personally had any dust issues with it although I do NOT use it on my own vehicles. It does drop quite a bit, so it gets a bit messy. But it most certainly finishes up the car nicely.

 

I would say Adam's VRT if you wanted to go with their product. You could try Adam's In and Out spray, but I dont think its cost efficient. I believe Ive read somewhere that you can dilute VRT with water and use it in a sprayer, but Im not sure how well that would play out.

Or if youre desperate, you can use spray paint..... (while this is an option at dealerships, I do not condone this choice)

 

Do you guys brush/wipe after spritzing. I do if I want perfection......
If not, I'll spray lightly, let it drip, then respritz to get about 90% even coverage.
I love doing a quick wipe to just get the entire area even to the edges....but I hate the cleaning of the MF afterwards and it's just a wheelwell so I tend not to wipe...

 

CG BB sounds like something I would like to try, that or probably just tire dressing. I can't reach my fenderwells even at stock height so anything I can just spray and walk away is a winner in my book.

I have switched to just using trim restorers on plastic lined wheel wells. They last longer, do not drip, and more cost effective.

 

I got half a gallon of BB for sale lol... I find megs hyper dressing and stoners trim shine work better for me.
