i am not sure of the technique you used in Lightroom... the goal of HDR, ( High Density Range...) I think the term should have been maximum density range, detail from the shadows, to the highlights, the we always see with our eyes... usually the process is combining several images of different exposures. in the first two images you posted, this was achieved in the technical sense, but aesthetically the extra detail in the asphalt, pulls my eye away from the car... and added too much darkness, more so in the second image... the added darkness increased the contrast, which is normal... in the second image, the concrete parking slabs, now stand-out, and become a focal point, and pulls your eyes away from the car... my suggestion would be to do some masking, add the needed detail to the car, and maybe the reflections, but lesson the increased detail, to the background, less important parts... this somewhat defeats the HDR affect... as with any "technique" is it about using the technique itself, or creating a better images using that technique.... HDR is a great technique for landscapes but, would rarely be used for people, as an example... the third image is by far the best, not really an example of HDR, but, it is the best image... I would fix the sky, to remove the pixelization, remove the slight color in the headlamp, and add the red stripe to the rear tire... the second image would be the perfect image to just blurr the background, it would add focus to the car, and give a feel of movement/speed... or add a motion blurr to give direction of movement/speed... even though the car is not moving... wink/smile... or even after adding the motion blurr, add another motion blurr to the wheels, then you are moving fast... in the digital world, we can easily manipulate an image, with endless techniques... in the best images you will see the image first, then maybe later the technique used, if you see the technique used first, then the image content... then the image has failed... just my opinion...
