Nice one man. I recently did the same thing. Gave up my pride and joy personal vehicle for a Chevy express work van.
Very cool Yes figure out if you're carrying water, generator, etc before you run out and purchase shelving cause the space gets used up very quickly Good luck !
Cosmin on AG has a nice write up on the transit he built himself, shelves and all, check it out for ideas
This makes me want to quit my full time job lol. I would love to detail for a living. Im working expanding my services now
You pretty much have to decide whether to get a small vehicle and get great mileage or get a full size van ( or Astro ) and take it in the butt when you have to fill it up. My Astro got around 14, my Savana 10 - 11 and the Transit supposedly gets mid 20s. A used Dodge Sprinter ( first gen ) can be found relatively inexpensively and have the best of both worlds; great mileage and lots of room.
Have a look around Detailing World for interior ideas. They all run vans like these so you may be able to get some ideas.
where did you get the eat/sleep/detail decal? i didnt see it on detailers domain, id like the picture if its not copyrighted.
/\/\ I have one as well. I don't see the link for the sticker but here's for the shirt http://www.detailersdomain.com/Uber-Eat-Sleep-Detail-T-Shirt_p_589.html Sweet Ken! VW vans with Audi S4 looking wheels
wow! Not only is your van sick but that M3 is dope as hell. I was going to buy a NV van but after giving it some thought i don't see myself being here in Hawaii for to much longer so i didn't want to take a huge hit on the van. I really would like to head back to California to continue the detail business where people are much more educated on what real detailing is. At worst i may just jump over to Oahu which is like LA on a island. I got a used 2009 Chevy Express van right now. Where did you get those black rims . . . . that looks fresh!
