Tire Cleaner?

I use Bleche White as a dedicated tire cleaner for really nasty tires. Any good APC will work just fine!!

My go to wheel/tire cleaner is AG CWC.

 

You don't need to go crazy trying to find one particular cleaner. Better to do two applications of the cleaner with generous brushing. Once the tire is clean and dry, follow up with Griot's Rubber Prep. I have recently started to use this product and it is quite clever. Just apply with a foam sponge to a clean and dry tire (just like you're applying tire shine) and let it dry, and you should be left with a totally clean tire, ready to be dressed.

Browning from the tire is natural and is typically the tire's built-in anti-ozone protection. Just apply your tire shine and you should be left with a clean, black, shiny tire.

 

opt PC full strength..... let it soak and it works great. BW is good too....

 

Because of this thread in fact, I went over to the parts store and could only find Bleche White, and I have to say it works amazingly great. My tires were worse than any passenger car I have ever seen and it cleaned them to nearly brand new color.

Meg's APC orzep citrus will work

 

I use Zep Citrus at full strength.

 

Zep industrial purple hands down.

 

I agree, ZEP purple is great for tires. I've been diluting 3:1.
