That's awesome! I did not think a PC could correct that level of severity.

What kind of car is that and how hard or soft is the paint?

Nice job P1et! I think a PC can fix most things a rotary can it just takes alot longer.

Trust me, I had to crank the PC all the way up, use the orange pad and make multiple passes. To say that the paint lost a few microns is an understatement! It was an older Lexus SC400.

And your arms become a lot number!!!

That hood from that to that is incredible...fantastic. Absolutely fantastic job!!!

However, 5 passes on the hood with 3 different pads on a PC none the less in 45 minutes is absolutely 100% impossible unless they sell a PC Turbo version in Texas. You could have used wool on that and not be able to get that level of correction in 45 minutes. To achieve that level of correction without using fillers on a PC you spent well over 2 hours on that hood alone.

Absolutely incredible turn around on that, I still am in awe...but in 45 minutes. NO WAY.

Thanks! And in regards to the time, you're right, it was probably a lot more than 45 minutes. This detail was done a long time ago and I guessed 45 minutes, but yes, that doesn't make much sense...

Oh, and no fillers were used.

    Wow,

And your impressions of SSR and EX-P now? It looks like you made good use of a lot of the budget products :D

I have always thought that SSR2.5 and SSR1 were very capable products. I just found that they took a while to fully break down and with the PC, they sometimes still left minor marring. And don't talk to me about the dustin, it was horrible.

Menzerna, on the other hand, is a fantastic product. I find that it breaks down quicker (especially with the Flex!) and that the dusting is less. Well, it's less on the 85RD anyways. I cannot say the same on the SIP! It was snowing in my garage the other day when I was doing that Tundra...

I have since sold the SSR2.5 and the SSR1. Great products, but I replaced them with Menzerna and my friend could use them. The EX-P was awful, it didn't even last a full week. Not recommended.

I you think SIP dusts, try IP. It is an awesome polish, but whenever I use it I have to wear a mask. Just ordered 106ff and RD from Phil, can't wait to try them. Gotta love that Menzerna + Flex combo.

Oh, to P1et, great results on that Lexus SC. The great thing about Lexus paint is that it is super easy to correct, but at the same time because it is so soft it swirls just by looking at it.
