    JoeyV Welcome to Detailing

It's not a language thing, because even written in French, it's the same thing. It's a common occurrence for his threads. I am not posting anything pertaining to that until I am provoked, but let's just say I'm very close to exposing a LOT of stuff.

I'd just like to point out that this whole Dawn/Sunlight/Dish soap thing (although it will most likely be denied) was said to try to discredit my work since I use Sunlight as a degreaser and I post my work on the same local forum.

I'd say no, the LSP doesn't make that much of a difference in the look if the polishing job was done right. I can polish a car and make it look good with Turtle Wax just like with Zymol Glasur.

The way I see it, is if my work is up to par then the products I use change nothing on my credibility. :)

I say let your work do the talking not the product lol.

I love seeing a good thread, but I think there needs to be a happy medium of how much products need to be shown.

Some detailers show every before and after possible but make no mention of products, whereas other detailers show a before and an after and list all of their products. You can list the polishes and the machine, and the wax or sealant, but a lot of the "shine and gloss" is dependent on technique and skill.

Whereas I like to know what products are used that are not necessarily user dependent. For example, a tire/trim dressing that leaves a specific/desired look, decontamination product that works without special application, a deep cleaning product that is a spray and rinse, etc.

Back on topic, I didn't know it was a specific poke at you Joey, which makes his whole thread seem like a "I am better than you" jab.

That is a given, if all things are done correctly....... We already know this, I should have elaborated more how I stated that.

YES, its all about the prep work, but people still get caught up in the LSP stage. as Pureshine says, let the work do the talking, not the products.

and I agree 100% with your last statement about your work being up to par........

the products do not give your work credibility.
