Today I was thinking to tell my dealer that they are washing the cars all wrong and that's why the car is scratch upon delivery. It took me a while to figure out that if dealerships starts doing quality work, then people like us won't have any work . so F that! let them do their business n we do our business.

It hurts to see a new $$$$ Audi scratch up, and then they blame it on our service department on not carefully unwrapping the cars. I know Im not scratching it, cuz I have it on a lift and carefully unhooking it. The Lot guys out there with their razors and pulling the covers are. but damn sales department are that stupid. so F it, let them scratch it, so we have work.

LoL. Bad part their is a guilty conscience. Does it eat you away at all to know that a customer is coming in spending big $$$ on a brand new Audi and gets delivered a vehicle that looks like it had been through the local tunnel wash several times before he got it?

Sometimes that kind of stuff makes me feel bad because i know if i dropped $40,000/$60,000 or more or less on a new car i would expect it to be looking new and not used.

If dealers will do quality work washing cars, that means it will be time consuming for them, and that's not what's it's all about...for them at least...

it is what it is my friend, I think I will stay quiet n leave the dealership alone on this. besides that what CSI is for. if the customer don't know, it won't hurt. Then we come in and educate them, now they think we are special n we are! so they will pay us top $ to fix it (lol) some customers are cheap tho.

yet all my dealer care about is the numbers not quality. and most dealers are like that.

most but not all. some dealerships actually take pride in what they do. One day people will catch on and at that point well who knows. I don't think that's right to do to someone.

might as well just pick up a dirty costco microfiber and wash their cars too.

hey nobody knows it but me, detailer doesn't know it, dealer don't know it, and customer don't know about it. and its not my job to tell on the detailer, how would it make you feel, if you just made someone loose their job??? then everyone you work with will think differently about you. The customer spends all this time researching the car they want, but not researching on how to care for it, therefore they don't care until you show them. how do you think I found DB? I research
