they are my go-to applicator for any cleaner fluid. It greatly reduces the strain on your hands. For wax, I prefer to use the wax applicator, or apply with my hands. The puck is too hard for wax IMO. It could work though, i would just see myself using more product.
the bodyshop and owner split the charge. At first, when i gave the estimate, the body shop foreman told me i was crazy :crasy:
Amazing work Dom, the afters are incredible. Unreal to think that one set of afters are from one "detailer" and the second set if from yourself. Just goes to show that a detailer does not equal a detailer. Very nice words the owner had to say as well, we all know how impressed someone needs to be before they take the time to post about it on their forum. What I've found as well is that it's not because a bodyshop has a great reputation that this also means they know how to detail a car. The same applies to a bodyshop here in Austin, which is widely regarded as the finest in the area. My friend took his F-350 there after a fender and a door needed to be replaced. He had gone to look at the paint before and mentioned to me it was swirled, and had told the bodyshop to fix it. He took me with him to be his "eye" after the bodyshop told him they were finished repairing the swirls the next day. When we pulled up, the boys were fiercely applying something to the paint. Upon further inspection, they were adding layer after layer of glaze in order to cover up the swirls. I called them out on this, and have never so quickly been removed from the situation before. Gotta love it...
Outstanding work on a beautiful Boxster. The owner's thread really shows your level of professionalism. Explaining detailing processes is an important part of selling your services.
