Isn't it ironic that some Swissvax waxes cost more than a GOOD paintjob?

Time to pick up some items I have been holding out on...but owning a decent sized SV product line I will say I do love there products. Have not found one I did not enjoy to use and live up to what it is suppose to do. Hopefully when I go to Switzerland I can get away from work for a day and head to the SV in Switzerland.

I heard price will rise up by 20%. Is that true?

I could see them increasing it by 20% which for most of their products is a significant amount. They must not have problem with sales at their prices because the average Joe has a limited ability to purchase at those price points. I guess they have solified a certain maket segment and do well in it. More power to them.

Maybe the price increase will make up for the nickel and dime customers they are going to lose.

Well I think it's the same advice given to certain people on here. Let's say you have too many clients and not enough time. Raise your price %20, lose portion of customers; do less work make same amount of money. I'm sure I'm way off for a retail point of view but like others said, they know have a certain market locked in. Sucks though, don't disagree there.

A good (properly done ) paint job here will set you back upwards of $7k. Maaco doesn't do quality work.

LOL! Thats awesome. I wonder if every pot comes with a free tampon for your ass.

Even though I agree with everyone that Swissvax is certainly becoming a very expensive product to own, I can honestly say that I have yet to be disappointed with a single on of their products with the EXPEPTION of their terrible pots. But they of course fixed that not too long ago.

    Yeah - I agree with P1et - I've never heard a bad review of a SV product.

However, I also agree with Luke. I have so many LSPs (mostly full pot/bottle of PL, AG HD, CG Celeste Dettaglio, Collonite 845, P21S, 1Z PlishWax, Aquarts, Nano Coating, etc). I can't use them all.

If SV offered, say, a 2oz pot with a price that reflects the quantity, I would buy.

They have discovery kits with 2 oz pots but you also get the rest of the line in samples.

UK people have one person buy a pot and split it into 4 and sell it at 1/4th the price. I would be willing to do that at some point.

Any idea on price? Sounds like it would still be about $1000.
