Are they the same? Different? Kinda pricey, wanted to try one, but only one. leaning toward Concorso.

BoS is soft and Concorso is supposed to be hard. To me Concorso is also pretty soft compared to others. Ive tried Rubbish Boys wax and they claim their wax to be hard, and that is a HARD wax, makes Concorso look like jelly. have not tried BoS yet, so cant give comments on that.

Just got Smaragd in from Phil yesterday, it is not soft. Quite hard actually.

I have Saphir, and that is very soft. I will be picking up Concorso soon also.

Smaragd is really nice, I'm very pleased with this product but I haven't tried Concorso so I'm not sure how they would compare.

Look forward to more feed back :thumb:

    Hum-Benz Wax on..Wax off

Instead of starting a new thread I thought I would bring this old one back. I have Smaragd now and actually ordered more but I am curious about Concorso.
Has anyone yet had both Smaragd and Concorso? Was there any noticable differences in looks, durability etc.

That was a smart move on your part and boy do I wish I had the SwissVax answers that means I would have SwissVax...

I have always heard they are very similar but have NO first hand experience with smargd. I have used Concorso and it is a very nice wax definitely on the hard side but yet goes on like butter with an applicator. Seemed fairly durable for a nuba.

    i have both!!!

i just put my first coat of BOS on ever yesterday!! and i have to say it seems a tiny bit easier to use in the sense it is super super easy to lay down really thin layers with the black swissvax applicator..i really loved using this wax..total time for one coat was under 30 mins.. i am gonna go throw another coat on now!!

i really lly LOVE concourso too if you have bos i would get concourso stat.. concourso gives a lil more bling but it has been since may that i put her on..but seriously both are awesome..but honestly this just reminded me how awesome Crystal Rock is..Paul in a year did what SV couldn't do in god knows how many..that wax adds soooooo much gloss to the car it is really awesome.. i can't wait to put more on.. hopefully tomorrow i can get some outside reflection shots and so on!!

I have used both (the BOS was Nica's so i only got yo play with it once) to be honest i liked BOs more, im not sure what it was about it (it was a while ago) but it just looked nicer to me. maybe it had a better combo of shine and depth?

But i def liked BOS more then concourso
    just my 2 cents :thud:

haha we have some nice controversy..seriously both are phenomenal Bos might get the edge..but both are great and offer different bling if you will.. seriously if you can in any way shape or form buy Crystal Rock.. i would pull the trigger.. i think if that wax was ~$750 it would sell twice as much.. I can't give Paul enough credit!!!

where the hell is Paul anyways.. he disappeared under some Bugatti... maybe Bugatti has him in their secret under ground testing facility. slaving night and day...or should i say salivating all day over rare old and modern classics
