While the dirt appears to be thick and very caked on, is that the true condition? Would it have been hard to take a brush and say some ARO to do the same?

This is a wheel off my wife's Explorer. That's three years of caked on dirt and grime right there. I tried to wash it regularly first, didn't put a DENT in it. Then I tried claying it, that didn't work either. So I sprayed P21S Wheel Gel all over (liberally!) and let it sit for probably about an hour. Then, without much agitation, I washed the wheels with a regular sponge. You can still see some crap stuck in the grooves, but nonetheless!

Actually, this bottle was sent to me for free by P21S but they didn't ask me to post this, HAHAHAHA...

I let it sit for about an hour, maybe a little longer... That gel just STAYS there, it never runs off. Love it!

 

Did the same thing on my rims, not that bad..but bad And it worked great, I let it sit on for 5 min.
