Spray bottles and suchs

I can't even find the Northern bottle on the manufacturer's page, which is infuriating. It's made by Sprayco.

I just went out to the garage, to make sure the one filled with Tardis still works. Yep. Still works. Tardis has been in there for a month now with the trigger sitting in it the whole time. I couldn't believe it either, but nothing will kill these things.

It's a Sprayco XR-2500. When I search Amazon for this mfg. and model, I get this. But, assuming that picture is accurate, it's not the same bottle. Totally different head, different color printing on the bottle. The Amazon one also lacks the wide bottle opening, which ROCKS.

I just went out and got one from the garage (I've got at least a dozen), so here's a thorough description, so you guys will know what you're looking for.

Head:
- Head made of white plastic, with the trigger, nozzle, and threaded collar all blue
- Trigger is long. I've got big hands for my size, and I can use three fingers and be comfy

Bottle:
- 32oz. translucent bottle, with wider than normal opening

Dilution Markings:
- OZ down left column, ML down right column
- Between those, markings for 5-1, 3-1, 2-1. and 1-1

I can't find this EXACT one online anywhere, maybe that description will help someone else here spot them.

 

I typed that up instead of taking pictures because the camera's flash is broken. Finally took some against the white kitchen counter, and that was the fix.

Found out more about these fantastic bottles from Sprayco. Yes, you can get them direct from the manufacturer. However...there is a $150 minimum order. Sprayco isn't a company that's used to dealing with individuals - they're geared more towards selling to places like Northern Tool.

 

Group buy? Looks like they're available in quantities starting at 12 per case.

When I followed up on the phone, it just didn't seem like it was going to be practical to do a GB.

People who are looking for these might want to check out a janitorial supply store, if you've got one close by. Alternatively, there's an Amazon listing for two "Sprayco XR2500" bottles. The picture is not the same as the bottles I was talking about, but it's only a $4.47 item. Next time I order from Amazon, I'll get them, and we'll know for sure.

 

What did they tell you? Is the price of shipping the deal breaker? It looks like a good bottle. I was hoping to maybe get in a group buy.
