well this thread went awry pretty quick...

who cares who drives what and how old they are.

i'm sure 99% of the people here wouldn't turn down an exotic given to them by their parents, esp when your under 21. some people are just more fortunate than others, no need to hate. And who hasn't done some "spirited" driving when they got their first car at the age of 16?

now if they killed/injured someone...thats a diff story...

    luke093 Welcome to Detailing

I wish my first car would be at 16! Hell, I wouldn't turn down an exotic, and I have a feeling that given a clear road I would give it a nice pull. Nonetheless, the 13 people weaving through traffic at high speeds was definitely not smart at all.

The whole point of the thread was that this group of kids ( all were under 20 ) with no driving experience, were driving at up to 4x the legal limit within the city. No, they didn't kill someone. This time. But driving like that will catch up to them. Better to teach them young that it's not appropriate, regardless of who you are and how much money your family has. Stupid is still stupid. And doing 200kph in a 50kph ( thats 120mph in a 30 )zone is not "spirited", its beyond stupid.

point taken. dont get me wrong, im not defending them or anything, im just saying that the majority would do "similar" actions given the situation. And if they do keep driving like that, i hope it does catch up to them. if they crash and kill themselves, (hopefully no one else) i'll point and laugh.

maybe i should rephrase that, "when they started driving at the age of 16."

we will see about Detailing i have preety good skills myself you know, just lazy sometimes. I honestly dont know how you Pro Detailers do a Car in 1/2 or one day... it took me 3 days to just do 2 step on the outside of my VW lols

Agree, i know when i got my License, i did some really really stupid moronice things on the road when i was 16-20 years old, thought i was better than anyone that was driving, i can drive better. Now i look at 16-20 year olds driving and think to myself man that was me few years ago, what a Dick Head! and Idiot! and Moron!

I was gunna say - last time I was in Vancouver (like in 2005) tons of Chinese with loads of money. I had a friend in So Cal rolling around in an E63 and a number of other very well-off friends from Asia.

Vancouver is a cool city - at the point of my trip I recall the real-estate was sky high.

My friend asked me if I want to go do detailing business in china. because he think people over there are more baller than people here. sucks I don't have rich parents or friends, and I probably will have to work my ass off to get anywhere in life.

I like driving fast, 5 - 10 mph over in towns, 10 - 20 mph in highways. but I rarely drive XXX anywhere public.
