x2 Glad to be a hard worker right here. Kids that are given things will not have the opportunity to earn something themselves and learn from the experience. IMHO its a pretty important experience...oke:
If I had done that I would STILL be getting my ass beat. Heck my pops would probably just drive to my house 20 years later and beat my ass just because he thought about it.
omg i would cry for joy if i got any car even it a piece a shit an old 1968 challanger would make my up for the failuers in my life like wow i live with a semi poor family and im happy what i got right now i have . getting a car knowing i worked hard for iit makes it all better for me cause it make my car look kick ass
R U F'in KIDDING ME? Hey mother of brat, your failure as a parent has been documented for all eternity. Either that or, "Say hello to the NEXT Paris Hilton!" FFS, that's so sad...I need another :drinking2:
marco your anice guy so dont take this the wrong way... but you come from a whole diffrent world... so do i.... its hard to compare an avg canadian to an experiently wealthy in the states... life is a diffrent thing... im with you... i was exicted when i got a 94 olds 98 for my 16th... man i love that car... but these kds come from a diffrent life then you or me not that that justifies it.....
I agree with Wolfpacker, mom and dad would of beat my ass to this day if I ever acted like that. There is no excuse to treat your parents like that.
jeez u know what man u wanna go ??? hehe j/k yea i see what u mean but still gotta hold back on the spending for your kids right money+kids=spoiled little bratz :fs:
i dont agree,. i have come from a very fortumte backround (not rich but never struggled) and i was given more then my share.. my parents did things to teach me the value of a dollar and teach me to be a polite young man.. heck i have to save half my paycheck.. this ment my first job left les then 3bucks an hour in my pocket... trust me you learn what is worth and what is not very quickly at 3 bucks and hour...... im glad they made me and I still do.. imn 20 and have a retierment fund.... but i dont think the downfall is giving your kids stuff its how you give it to them... make them a good person and i see no problem, however give them what ever whenever with no trade off and this will happen
I'm not sure how old you two are but (I'll be 30 soon...) I would be in the same boat as you two. Hell I was happy as a pig in sh*t when I got my moms 1979 Bonneville when I was 17 in 1995. There has been a gradual change in society taking place over the last 10 - 15 years in which the general attitude toward parenting has diminished in a way that that children run there parents. It has become more and more difficult to discipline your children for fear of them or some idiot calling the police on you and then it becomes a huge mess. I say this as a father of an 18 month old girl and I tell you I'm not looking forward to this portion of the future.
This makes me sick.... I was lucky to get the pair of shoes or pants that I Wanted instead of what was on sale.. Seriously makes me sick... the parents need to be bitch slappesd and that little f'ing brat of a kid needs to be bitch slapped... this is excatly what is wrong with the youth of today that is not taught humility, respect and appreciation... I for one can say that my son WILL NOT EVER act like this less he have a boot in his arse!
watching something things like this makes me appreciate the parents I have even more!! They are such a blessing my parents > any car money can buy what's even pathetic, is that thing went on tv which is another problem on it's own
I bet! She just wanted a Audi, poor girl!! Its like giving you pinnacle souveran at the same price as DIVINE!
