Spacer for Makita

this would be a very handy tool

 

Some teaser shots of mine. I brought it to work today. I forgot to grab the makita, but oh well.

It has the 75mm bp from Ben attached to it right now.

 

Bet you would have to be certain the pad is nice and centered - high speed wobbles??:yikes:

 

It actually smooths out in the upper rpms from my experience...

 

Me too. It feels smoother than without the spacer.

 

Is KK getting these made?

Yeah, the machinist is on a big job, and working overtime. KK asked him just a couple days ago how they were coming. He said as soon as he gets time, they'll get made.

 

I txted him again today... he said Monday should be the day which will put them in my hands by Tuesday/Wednesday...

im haivng troubles with getting on the mori at work...

but if you guys do want i can spin out custom sizes on the manual lathe PM me and ill see what i can do...

as well all will be 304..

Spacers are almost done!

My machinist turned them and put threads on the male ends.... said tomorrow or Wednesday he will drill and tap the female ends and I'll go pick em up!
