I just bought Sonax Polymer Net Shield from Phil and was wondering if it can be applied on trim and glass? Oddly, Autopia's description for the product states that it can but I have not read this on other retailer's websites for the description of the product. Can anyone confirm, specifically application on trim.

Did some research since Sonax Polymer Net Shield is silicone based. It appears theres a toss up as to whether silicone based dressings are bad for rubber. Some say yes and some say no depending on the type of silicone. Black-wow is silicone based. Now I'm really determined to find out if Sonax Polymer Net Shield can be used on trim.....

I see no reason why it wouldn't work on glass, but trim I don't know. Would you use it to seal the trim after applying a dressing, or as a dressing and sealant?

I asked Phil same question- if Sonax PNS could be used on glass - and he said "No." Not sure about trim though.
