oh man you remind me of my Samsung MP3 player not working in S.Korea during a trip cuz it was too damn cold lol electric power steering win? but shouldnt it work fine once the engine warms up and the engine bay gets warmed up
This is quickly becoming the fastest growing thread on here lol. You don't even need to walk outside at SFU, just walk near to the entrances, the wind will do its best to take you out.
cuz i browse DB Forums like all day at university and at home LOL I cant imagine whats tomorrow gonna be like, gonna be like even colder than today. My room is powered by 2 desktops as heaters with home radiant heating and i still feel the cold breeze thru my wall/windows
ahhh 2 computers, I used to be like that.... At my peak I had 4 computers in the room, got a little too ridiculous though. Usually have a laptop and a desktop now. Very much NOT looking forward to tomorrow. My car lock is frozen shut every morning, and I have to enter through the passenger side door.
haha, at peak i had like 3 desktops and 4 laptops not that I was able to use em all at once, but I do use my 2 desktops and a laptop at the same time. Tomorrow... ahh gonna be c old and I gotta get to campus by 8:30 shiz u sure its your lock and not the seals freezing? seals freezing... spray some 303 protectant or something may work.
If your seals are freezing, load them up with protectant. It'll help keep them from sticking to the metal.
No its not the seals, but rather the lock. The door won't unlock when I press the keyfob, and its ONLY the driver's door's lock that gets stuck, all the other 3 passenger doors are fine, same with the trunk.
Well....we got a dusting in the city last night but all gone now due to the rain and warmer temps. About 40 accidents over night as it went below 0 C unexpectedly. In locations that get cold temps and snow, winter tires should be mandatory (like Quebec did last year).
its -7c on UBC campus but yeah winter tires probably should be mandatory at extreme low temps, safer for everyone, or atleast certified all seasons and not summer tires. on a side note, i need a portable heater, comp sci building rooms has no heaters and its friggen concrete cold.
-12 with windchill now. Forecast for tonight, snow. Better get off the mountain before they decide to shut the whole thing down.
dont you get stuck up there if they decide to close the thing down? lol I'm going to ubc after some breakfast, pro gonna be -5ish as thats the approx temp in richmond.
Its snowing half an hour ago at SFU already, since its way below freezing it'll probably stick. I don't think I'm going to stay for the whole day. Yes, SFU closes off all the parking lots so no one can leave with their cars when it snows. I think I might have to climb over a hedge if I need to.
always better with a truck! it started snowing as i drove to UBC but not enough to pile up Tonight we'll see....
Ok so far its been a disappointment in terms of snow.... I'm gonna take that its not gonna snow tonight.
