I feel like a lame ass. All i bought for black friday was detailing products from DD.

Im selfish

 

you guys sure you want to see purses, clothes, and shoes...lol...

i.e. the typical stuff from shopping outlets? =p

i didn't go to best buy or walrmat when the stores opened. i went to a walmart around 2 pm and the place was still packed! craziness. they had pallets and pallets of several tv models. i didn't bring a car large enuff to lug the items back home...haha...

some people had like 3-4 tv's in their shopping carts, the 32" ones.

tried to get the wafflemaker and electric griddle from wally mart but obviously sold out when i got there.

went back to walmart at 12am and they have tonnes of staff on hand stocking the shelves and putting xmas stuff on display...haha...i like wallmarts here b/c they are 24 hours.

i shopped from 9pm thursday night, straight till 11am friday morning! 14 hours. i probably walked several km's within the outlet...haha...great mission!

We didn't do anything this year, still trying to get our finances figured out from the new job and getting caught up on bills.

How many of you did all this buying with cash?

 

Debit Card.

 

Credit Card for my 1-2% back and pay all CC off every month...how can you say NO to free money as long as you pay the bills every month and dont carry over...

 

Credit cards with rebates are a must. BP has a visa card with 5% back on gas and 1% on everything but do not miss a payment or the interest will be around 25%.

The rebate is already factored into the prices so you are already paying for it. The funny thing is if all merchants agreed to reduce prices 2 to 4% due to credit card fees for those paying with cash I think would still pay with credit cards but it is a different kind of tax. But if the credit card companies charged 3% people would howl. It just shows how we pay for convenience.

 

CC gives me cash back for purchases and is paid off every month.

VERY good and valid question considering the financial mess overspending will get you into

 

I pay my mortgage with my CC and pay it off the next day once its posts......... I have a butt load of rewards points LOL

 

If I could pay rent w/o an additional fee I would be on it to rack up points. I pay for all my busness expenses when I travel on my CC (plane tickers, hotel, ext) and I rack up a decent amount of cash back.

 

it adds up..... I started paying my insurance on it too, so that is a nice chunk of rewards there as well........ Free money is nice.

If you have a good card that has great rewards like chase, just use it for everything and at the end of the day go home and pay it online.... It probably bothers them that I will pay my CC 4 times a week but oh well.

 

I've been racking up the points with my Chase card as well. Hopefully one day it'll add up to something for me.
