Can't wait to hear your impressions about the machine and the pads. Hoping Phil runs an intro deal...I'm holding off on my purchase of a Rupes until YOU have them in stock Phil!

Bryan, do you have a griots to compare the 15 to? Im really considering getting a 15 cause i have all 5.5" inch pads. Would like to hear your thoughts on it once you use it, compared to a traditional DA like a griots or PC.

The griots and the 15 are two different animals. Best way I can describe them is speed vs orbit. The 15 corrects faster, while the orbit is easily reduced by curves. Each tool has its purpose. I like the 15 for the large flat panels, while the other smaller orbit D'as will be used for the tighter areas if that helps :)

I have 2 griots and a PC. Friend is working in the one griots as it went poopoo. For correction speed and finish the 21 kills a PC or griots. I will have a bunch of comparison stuff coming up. I will do the gg and rupes comparison for you.

At this point no. I don't normally have access to a large enough compressor. If I end up getting a shop and outfit it with a compressor I would get one. Just electric ones for now.
