WolfPacker......That was one AWESOME turn around....The Interior is one for the books....it was real bad and now its like new......the wheel wells and tires look great also....

The paint is looks great....all in all the WHOLE truck looks fantastic...

A little info...DG 105 is a combo of polymers and resins..the resins are to mimick a waxed look...I have tried topping some silvers with a wax after and seen just a little improvement...the 105 alone on Silver really pops the paint...

I myself was one to use AW after applying 105..but after a few times I found waiting to let 105 setup 12 hours or better and then using AW vastly improves the looks and feel then doing right after applying it....once 105 is cured AW does its best.....

I was glad to help you out....

Again ..That is a FANTASTIC job and the owner must have been shocked to see his new truck.....

Thanks Pat I was told last night that he was talking all the next day about his truck!

Al thanks again you were the MAN on this job!! I forgot to put in my write up but I also applied AW to the windshield. The owner is really out working when the weather turns bad so then he should really be impressed with the rain just "running" off the windshield.

My pictures didn't really do the truck the justice it deserves. I told Nica I had been playing around with some settings and my pics weren't near as good. I see a lot of noise artifacts in the lower portions especially. But man you were right the silver was (to borrow a word from the younger generation) just Blingin'. Only thing I didn't get to do that I wanted to was coat the wheels with a layer of 105 too. The owner was grinning from ear to ear and that really made my day.

Thanks again for being there and allowing me to pick your brain, it knows a lot more about detailing than mine does! I can't wait to get another silver vehicle!!

Wolf... NICE.. Now that interior is a TRUE turn around and a fine one at that...

I agree with Nica, your interior was a bit more soiled (quite a bit) than the Titan he did.. Man I am impressed!!!!

Glad to hear that you are enjoying claying.

And I see that AL agrees with my observations that 105 is best to be left alone to cure.

WOW is the right word here. Just look at that interior, it was a dump! You made it look great again. APC wipe down is a really nice thing, I use this myself to. I can see why you loved DG 105 on the silver. Its a fantastic sealent to put on silver.

    I like 501/105 also.

    Very nice job buddy :D

Thanks now just got to put that Klasse to work.

Thanks pirex and you know I can't believe it took me so long to use the 501/105 combo. But now that I have man I do love it! Thanks for the kind words bro!

Thanks klumzy it took a lot of work to get all that mud out from under the wheel wells but luckily they came clean and looked as good as they did!

So you did 501, which is a marine AIO, then 601 which the bonding agent, then 105 which is another AIO?? i don't have a full understanding of DG, but that just sounds like a weird combination

As everyone has already said to you...Nice work on the paint and the interior as well as the wheels and wheel wells. All nice work on a working mans vehicle. Since he is a mechanic I would guess that he will be most pleased in, what I consider, a very nice and shiny engine compartment. I know that it is something that I look at long and hard when I peruse a recently detailed vehicle.

i would not call 105 a AIO even if DG says it is..the cleaning of 105 is very minimal at least...101 cleans nore then 105....

I have done many tests to see the cleaning power of DG polishes and 105 cleaned the less on the test panel....

501 is by far the strongest....then 101 ..then 151 the fiberglass polish for cars and then 105.....

I have a test panel out side I use....and it never gets washed until a test...I do the test by hand and machine ...I go by how black the pads get....and 105 comes out the cleanest and leaves more surface imperfection on the paint such as spots....leaf residue and outlines from leaves sitting on the panel...so cleaning is very lite at most....

I even discussed this with Jerry of DG and he flip flops on the cleaning abilities....one time he will say its very lite and another he will say it strong...lol....its the Fumes at the Factory getting to him..or the moonshine....

But for a great paint cleaner with outstanding durabilty 501 is the one....I did 5 dump trucks with 501 in Sept. and they still look great and shed water like a duck....and dirt just rolls off with just a water power wash...

Agreed, 501 has some really strong cleaning agents...

After AL-53 turned me onto it and gave me some pointers and how to use it(thanks again AL!) I used it was on a white caddilac that just received wash, clay and 2 step menzerna polish.. After the polish I used 501 with a white LC CCS pad and I was AMAZED at how many pads it turned BLACK!! I didn't expect that after a full polish!!!

It has a pretty darn nice shine as well!

I have also been witness to the flip flopping and also different story depending on what brother you talk to... Great guys but a but confusing!!!

I am very humbled by your comments... Thanks Bro!!:chest:
