Sorry, forgot to post that this is the 2" extension. Once I receive the 4" I will post pix of that also... (as long as I remember) icture:
thx for posting it up.. wow 2" makes alot of difference so 4" gonna be super long hmm maybe i should go for 3" then
Thanks for the kind works guys. i am glad you guys like the extensions. i have replied to and still waiting for response guys. i already have the 4 inch extensions on hand. i have updated list (in the first post) on what i have. let me know if you have any questions.
got polisher today and got extensions. they look nice. only thing i dont like is how sharp edges are where you would have to wrench them down but can be easily filed down for smooth edges
AV6 i am glad to here you got them already. i guess you are right. the edges where you put the wrench to loosen or tighten are sharp. That is the way they come out after cutting slots for the wrench. like you said a little filing can prevent a cut on your hands. i still have more extensions. Pms replied
i have one member asking me that he wants all four. i tell you what. For anybody that buys all four extensions at the same time i will pay for shipping within the US. Pms replied Let me know.
I got my extension in today, bit delayed due to dumb USPS, and no falt of lone. Really well made and cant wait to try it out.
I also got mine. These things are really stout. Super smooth with really great quality on these pieces. They seem to have a good weight to them as well which I would imagine would help to dampen any mild vibrations. Though that could work against it if someone has a really crappy BP that isn't balanced. Very impressed so far. I will be polishing on sunday so I will report back. Thanks again for the contest!
i actually have an extension for my metabo, but i've never used it. what exactly do they give you? more control??
they let you get into tight areas. for example if you need to polish deep areas and there is not room for rotary to get in there (ferrari grills and sometimes behind mirrors where they mount to the door
