Rightlook Wash Mat

For $100, I picked up a pump that I use to pump it into my laundry sink. Works like a charm. Saves turning the parking lot into a rink! The neighbours like that.

Random thought but I know for pool covers you can get one of those small pumps you put on the cover to remove the water that collects on top, I assume this would work pretty well for a matte like this and they are pretty cheap. Find them at any pool supply place.

 

I bet you could build one for much much cheaper....

Pool cover, or tarp, and a wood frame, 5" high with a side that is able to be moved to roll a car over? haha

To be honest with you, the pressure on the berms is for a split second, to drive over it takes no time at all, and then to drive off... i think it would take years for any noticeable wear or tear for that matter... if it did tear, they make repair kits for the vinyl and I imagine the foam would be replaceable although I don't remember if the ends open up or not.

 

i would make a PVC frame because it is light and you can remove one side to get a car in then lay a tarp over top to contain the water

 

I use mine all the time! Only complaint is that the surface can be damn slippery!
