Yep, after 20 years, they expire. I think it's 2011 when their clay patent expires.

not to hijack this thread or anything, but what grade (or how fine) is riccardo clay? I know that medium grade clays can marr or scratch so just wondering if riccardo does or not.

I've never used it but I think it's between fine grade and medium grade. The blue one is a little more aggressive than the yellow. I don't think it mars, but again, I've never used it. Anyone confirm this?

I really wish i had the necessary tools for more aggressive clays.

But since im not doing paint correction as of yet, im sticking with Megs white clay. I cant afford to marr the customers finish any more than it already has been from improper washing

 yup, Yellow Riccardo isn't too aggressive but it does get the job done. The Blue version is much easier to a manipulate and is a bit stronger then the yellow, meaning a bit more bite. Both clay bars don't induce marring for me. So both clay bars to me are really mild clay bars.

If a car is totally trashed, I don't even bother using poly clay. I go straight to a CG gray clay.
