Restoring a Carbon Fiber Hood

    It looks like the wet sanding worked well.

    I think that might fix your hood Noah.

    yeah no problem. i would stay away from Alpha grit for correction. its VERY aggressive and IMO is more suited for body shop use. the only reason i'll use it at work is if i have to wet sand a large area or a whole panel or something. then i'll go over it with alpha grit and a wool pad to bring it back up. and then finish it with 3M finesse or something like that.

    Yeah...that's what I'm afraid to breach.

    That's the key to restoring mine.

    Don't trust myself to wet sand though...damn

    I do think I have the same issue as racersky
