    Hi all,

What should one do with rain after detailing? I didn't have water source to sheet down the rain on the car, so I just spray my car with quick detail spray and wipe down the car completely. Will this help?

    Thanks.

That may not be the wisest decision. You could be inducing scratches. Maybe something like a waterless wash would be better. If your wiping it down with only detail spray, you are very likely picking up dirt/dust, etc and spreading it around.

Yeah, I would have just re washed or used a product like Optimum No Rinse.

After driving in the rain, I recommend a full two bucket wash. If the vehicle was parked you could get away with a rinse less wash. Check out the garry dean wash method. It's a combination of waterless wash and rinse less. Optimum no rinse with wax is a great product too!
