Product Name: Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection - Polycharged

Price: $29.09 (Can.) from Autowerkes Exclusive

    Size: 16 oz.

Amount used during application: Very little probably no more than 1 oz

    Dilution ratios: N/A

Container appearance: Nice squeeze bottle with nice graphics. This doesn't really affect if I buy a product but figured I would include it.

Directions or Application process: I applied it to the entire vehicle before buffing off. I used a CGs Stage 3 applicator. After doing the entire car (Jeep Liberty) I went back and buffed it off with a Danase Phat MF. I waited about an hour and applied a second coat in the same manner as the first.

Ease of use: Very simple to use. It's as simple and easy to use as Jetseal. I waited a tad bit longer to apply the second coat than I would with Jetseal but Ken (911fanatic) told me that I could probably do the second coat in about 30-45 minutes.

Smell / Scent: Kind of a chemical smell. No fruity scents here.

Consistency: About the same as most sealants. Very comparable to the consistency of Jetseal and DG 105.

    Cleaning Ability: Not applicable

    Lubricity: Not applicable

    Suds: Not applicable

    PH: Unknown

Appearance: I was really impressed with the appearance of the Blackfire. It gave a rich wet look that was very close to Jetseal.

Durability: This was the first time I had used it but according to Ken I should see around 3 months per application. If that's the case and I believe Ken then this stuff is golden.

Pros: Easy application, ability to top it with another coat in less than an hour, incredible look.

Cons: Only one would be if you only get this fast cure time because its Polycharged and you ended up with some that wasn't. Oh and I guess price could be a con as it's a little more expensive than most sealants but the pros far outweigh the cons.

Overall Comments: Well because of the high shipping costs I have been in search of products from other manufacturers that would be comparable to CGs stuff. Well it had been virtually impossible to find a Sealant that I liked better than Jetseal that I could top right away with another coat or a nuba. Well I have found the holy grail I think in the Blackfire Wet Diamond All Finish Paint Protection. You will be seeing this sealant in a lot more of my details and Ken at Autowerkes will be getting more orders for it from me! I would recommend this sealant to anyone wanting an incredible look and the ability to top in a short amount of time.

Rating (out of five): Five out of five for me. I will be making this a staple in my collection and you will be seeing it in a lot of my show and shines from now on. I really love this stuff and so glad I got it from Ken in my first order. If you have been thinking of trying this out I suggest you run straight to Autowerkes and order some while the sale is on.

Here are some pics and a sneak peak at my next show and shine:

Looks fantastic! Detailedimage has a bundle that seems like a really good deal with all of this stuff. I've never used the polish formulated with Menzerna, has anyone tried it?

thanks for a review, JL! I have Wet Diamond already and Midnight Sun. This will be my next combo.
As far as applying a second coat, I've noticed that it helps for a nice even coverage, but will not double your durability with any sealant... And by the way, Wet Diamond smells better then Wolfgang DGPS.

I've always thought the Blackfire line was under rated.

I don't know how that Jeep looked before, but that paint is melting off! I hope that was a customer car, you'll be selling work all day long with that thing rolling out of your driveway.

I think you are right on the underrated part and it really delivers. Not only was it a customer's car but the customer was one of the owner reps for the company I work for!!

Holy RED, Batman! I know it's got to be good if it gets JL to "cheat" on Jetseal.

I've seriously looked at this like 10 times already today and I can't get over how amazing it looks. It seems to darken the paint a little bit which is definitely a good thing on red.

The nice thing about this sealant is that you don't have to rush to get it off. I have left it on a car overnight and had no problem with it in the morning.

I just found this product as well. I agree with the OP, and add that it has ended my search for the best sealant. I have a 2008 GTI - black magic metallic, and my wife says the shine cuts through the pollen! Not bad considering we live in the great pine tree state - NC and it's "yellow haze" season.

    Totally agree.
Black Fire Diamond is an incredible product, even much more better then jet seal.
There is also a similar product in the market, fourstar paint protection, cost 11 dollars, is a step down the black fire, but it is worth the difference in price.

With that price do you upsell that service for a sealant? curious:shead:

Yes I do. Just like I do for premium nubas.
