Problem with PC 7424XP and LC CCS pads

Good point about the rivets. Just checked mine. My LC 3.5" backing plate that I use with the 4" pads is riveted. My larger plate isn't LC, but a generic one that came with the kit at the time; however, I don't use it that often.

 

Can it happend because I was using a 6" Counterweight with a 5" backing plate and 5.5" pads?

It happend wile I was using a 6.5" pad but the previous 5h on that plate were with 5.5" pads.

 

I had a 6" counter weight and used 5.5" pads, it would not of caused that. The BP broke like that because of stress and heat, which is the reason LC updated the plates.
