Does anyone know if it is possible to remove powder coating. A friend of mine had his calipers done and a area that was to be taped off wasn't.The area in question is a hole where the brake fluid goes thru.
Can you tap the hole to clean out the powder coating? I know if you heat it up it will soften it and it can melt. I had it happen when welding. Other than that I'm not really sure. I'd contact a powder coating shop in your area and ask some questions. You don't want to hurt the caliper
