Iove wagons!

 

Since owning this vehicle I have noticed a trend:

Car enthusiasts generally like wagons (when they are done right) - My car buddies always compliment me on my car
The general public (non car enthusiasts) has images of Clark Griswalds wagon (See below image- National Lampoon) - My non car buddies give me hell "WHY DID YOU GET A STATION WAGON"????

 

People just don't understand the passion for a wagon. I have a wagon now and I don't foresee myself ever having anything but a wagon in the future. I almost wish I lived on the other side of the pond so I could share in their love for wagons and everything hatch.

 

I would love the RS4 wagon to come here...........

 

I would die if that actually happened.

 

Id be buried right next to you.........


I am seriously liking the Volvo's though they are not a common and really look nice, I have seen a few new ones with some nice wheels and I would buy one.

Yeah there is a pretty strong chance none of us can top that

 

That is one of the many reasons I really enjoy my Volvo... I just do not see volvo wagons.... the volvo cross overs are plentiful but not the wagons

it will be full of despair and sadness.

 

I am starting to see alot of Jetta TDI wagons,and I considered one....... but when old ladies are the ones you are seeing driving the majority of them then its a no go for me.

 

I cross shopped the following wagons:
Jetta
Audi
Acura
Saab
Volvo

So true about the granny comment

 

we won't even talk about the stereotypes of the subaru wagon crowd............ can we say "showers are cool"

 

If Saab was in better overall health I would definitely consider one of their wagons, I think they look awesome, but I'm not going to buy a car from a company that could go under in a matter of a few months.

 

not sure who even owns saab now LOL

 

Saab did something cool that I didn't know about until recently. Apparently they had their own model of the Trailblazer SS as the 9-7X Aero which was coupled with the GM LS2 making 390hp and AWD from the factory. Sharp looking too, here's one for sale.

Interior fit, finish and build quality was crap... Felt like a car with 60k miles. Plus, the ac/heater vents would drive me nutz....lolz
