You had an 08 STi, the red headed stepchild of the Subaru world. Try an 09 or an 07 Limited and I'm sure you'd change your mind

I never understood why folks want others to buy the same cars as them. It's as if the act serves to validate their own purchasing decision. We all have varied preferences and expectations. There's no reason to think that a car that's right for one individual will do the same for another.

 

Are you saying a top-mount intercooler makes the Subaru "safer" than if they had a front mount?

 

I think the means everything that a top mounted IC allows makes Subarus safer in the crash tests.
