i have been watching the american lemans race series http://www.americanlemans.com/ for about 10 years, tried to go last year and got rained out. well a few of us went yesterday and had a blast . porsche audi corvette and ferrari all had separate infield parking. did not get many pics of the spectators cars as we got there a little later then we should and parking was a nightmare even with a infield parking pass. saw probably 15 audi r8's including a beautiful blue 2011 drop top(first i have seen in person) countless vettes and porsches and about 50 f-cars . saw a noble and a GTR with the best license plate ever "ef u 2" took about 150 pics of the race . only a few came out worth a crap i was using someone else camera and was not used to it. so dont be to critical. 2010 lemans road atlanta album | Nextleveldetailing | Fotki.com, photo and video sharing made easy. here is the link to my fotki album
thought i got a few pics of them.i had a lot of shots not come out...tried to get shots of the BBS corporate office b/c i know we have lots of bbs fans here but they did not come out
just not as good as i expected .... i only posted the better ones. i usually shoot with a sony dsc h1 my old point and shoot that i use in manual mode. a buddy lent me his canon xti i had never used before and had been years since i used a slr of any kind.so half the shots where me trying to figure out the settings and lenses
