Recently just made a trip with my friends at Central Overland (Among others) who had planned a almost entirely off road route from south Texas to south Arizona to attend Overland Expo 2011. Following the Mexican border the entire way, which including camping against the fence at night. Just figured I'd toss a select few pictures up here. Just for the record, the trip there might of taken days, but the trip home was the worst. I drove straight from Amado, Az to Wichita Falls, Tx, only stopping for fuel) (I'll try to keep them somewhat in time line order. Starting from a Toyota workshop in El Paso where I met up with the group, and then proceeded to wait with my buddy, and CO group leader, until he got the Land Cruiser fixed. [:'(] )
Wow. What an awesome trip, I hope to be able to make a nice trip like this someday with my Wrangler.... only has a mild 3 inch lift on it now with 32's underneath but i have plans
Agreed. I think your Wrangler could do most things just fine the way it is now. Two, and we got them caught. :usa: Not bad though consider how long we were on the border.
