our GTI goes to the service center and...

My dad brought in our GTI to get the lights reseated (cuz the headlight assembly is touching the side panel and sqeeks) and the service advisors thought the GTI was repainted cuz the paintwork was so smooth LOL
Hong Kong and detailing, need to bridge it somehow cuz the service center guys have no idea about true detailing.

 

oh, so its a global issue and not just state side LOL.............

 

How did you figure out that the headlights were squeaking? I have a MK6 and havent noticed that... maybe i should pay closer attention!

 

That's awesome. I have actually heard that comment before too. Feels good.

 

The service center was their body shop center too, such untrained eyes!

I was hand waxing the Mk6 and found that when I was waxing the front fender, i got squeaks. There is a possiblity that they tried to fix the LED shorting issue for us OR VW decided to replace the headlights with the LED ones on our specific batch (we had a choice between one with DRL LED or without)

lol not yet, just told em not to wash it.I havent corrected it either, just been GLAZEEEEing

 

Nice, I always have to end up putting a do not wash sign on mine as the dealer never reads the comments.
