i was going to say to not bother putting up the picture as ive seen it and to not waste your time but,
thats your argument? thats it? that picture has been out and known to have been photoshopped since before the recent operation. even if it wasnt, its OBVIOUS its photoshopped. some news media might have gotten their panties bunched up and posted it initially, but it would be foolish for someone to believe that pic to be the real deal. it looks just like one of this prominent other pics when hes in the camo jacket, and plus, the pics are going to come from the whitehouse, not some second rate source. the media should not have jumped the gun on that, but im sure they were all in a frenzy.

Well my benchmark will be no new videos of him, which he always put out with a mention of current events so we knew he was still "Above ground", if there is no new videos than will be the conventional wisdom be he is gone deeper into hiding?.

For all of you deriding Americans for celebrating OBL's demise, the countless videos of celebration from the Muslim world(With children and women screaming in orgastic rapture) but one that sticks out in my mind is video most of you will not see of former SEAL Scott Helvenston hanging from a bridge in Iraq with his penis cut off and stuck in his mouth burnt to a shade of well done(He was in a platoon of my buddy who retired a few years back from Specwar) and three other Blackwater contractors...... brought to you of course from "Peaceful muslims" of the world

Another example from Iraq, my niece is a IS1 in the Navy now on embassy duty in Southeast Asia but at one time was TAD @ Abu Gahrib(spelling of this is probably not correct......sorry) and the women who cleaned thier space told the story of one of Saddam's sons raping and killing two out of her three daughters, with the youngest being eleven years old......and of course "Dad" was tortured and killed as well, throw in the invasion of Kuwait where there was literal raping and pillaging and nooooooooooo we did not need to be there two different times to draw a line in the sand (Lack of WMD's aside? of course where did all that stuff go and the entire airforce inventory was gone as well too).

I hope that folks from places other than America can understand that when something needs to and has to be done our countries mindset is one of helping those that cannot help themselves, of course those that envy the USA will talk smack about "Invasion" or "Overstepping our place" in fact Iraq just voted to reimburse the USA $400 million dollars........why on earth would they do that?(Drop in the bucket btw). Everyone wants to see the "High & mighty" brought down as it is human nature to gulp haterade, but it does not change the truth which was and is that America even with it's flaws ALWAYS comes to help the world when in need.........

you havent the slightest clue about whats going on in america, or how my country has changed in the last ten years. you have no idea the pain and sacrifice americans have been enduring since the morning of 9/11. whether it be from the initial loss incurred during the attacks, the economic downfall/recession that was built up by us being forced to combat terrorism with a 2 front war, the thousands of american soldiers lost, an extremely partisan government constantly at odds, and constantly being in the crosshairs of those who wish to remove us and our way of life from the face of the earth. these things and countless more have permanently changed america, and our way of life. this is the new world we life in, and yeah, while we may not be winning the popularity contest worldwide, we're doing the best we can with the cards we were dealt ten years ago. but like i said, you wouldnt know the first thing about living through any of this.

they were told a good while ago, that if high value targets were confirmed to be hiding out in pakistan, that we would be going in to get them. we never specified whether that would be a JDAM strike, DevGru team, or predator strike. i find it funny that in the article you posted that pakistan now is claiming they scrambled 2 F16s to intercept the choppers, but they couldnt make it in time. they couldnt make it in 40 minutes? but wait, i thought that pakistan knew about the operation from the get go and they had their own "intelligence operators" on the ground with the SEAL team for the op...give me a break. they need to stuff a bunch of socks in their mouths, because they havent put out a single honest word since the operation.

pakistan did not scramble F16s to support the mission. the intention was to intercept the "foreign choppers" hovering over the city. they werent aware of the mission at first, and as far as they knew, there were choppers hovering over the city and they didnt know why:

"Bashir repeated Pakistani claims that it did not know anything about the raid until it was too late to stop it. He said the army scrambled two F-16 fighter jets when it was aware that foreign helicopters were hovering over the city of Abbottabad, not far from the capital Islamabad, but they apparently did not get to the choppers on time."

 

This has to be fully expected. Pakistan is a mess. They have an unstable government and possess nukes with a strong muslim and anti-US population. It is all a big charade.
